Football gods giveth, football gods taketh away.

Why?!? Why did it has to be this week Notre Dame secondary got their sh*t together? As much as football gods blessed me last week with what is going to be the most thrilling 1:12 of football this season, I still would have liked a Spartan win in Southbend tonight. Ok, I'll have to admit it was totally greedy of me to ask for two weeks of Michigan, Michigan State and Detroit Lions victories - and as goes an old proverb: "Ahneella on paskanen loppu." So football
gods smited (smote?) me down on this one. Such is life and football.

Ann Arbor got back to business as usual with a day time kickoff and Michigan got back to business as usual by taking command in the second quarter and handily beating EMU. Shoelace delivered another vintage Denard Robinson ground show with 198 yards and a TD. By the way, is the word vintage a little sketchy here? I
mean, the dude is barely old enough to drink a vintage and has been starting quarterback for a grand total of 15 games. I guess that just goes to show what kind of effect he had on the nation and especially wolverine die-hards with last season's electric showings. I wish we could keep him on the Big House field for another 4 years. Too bad he's a junior and on his second to last year of eligibility.

Nebraska's defence, also known as the blackshirts, didn't flash that mean streak we saw with Ndamukong Suh terrorizing offensive lines. Guess the black in the shirts isn't very pigmented.

This "analysis" is 100% biased, totally unspecific, purely unscientific and pretty much just me shooting up opinions but hey, it's my blog and my rules. Deal with it.
